Hill Palace Museum

Hill Palace Museum, located in the historic town of Tripunithura near Kochi, is Kerala’s largest archaeological museum and first heritage museum. Built in 1865, this grand estate initially served as the administrative headquarters and official residence of the Maharaja of Cochin. Sprawling across 54 acres of beautifully terraced land, the complex seamlessly blends human history with nature. The palace grounds feature cascading fountains, serene ponds, a dedicated deer park, and a rich botanical garden that houses rare medicinal herbs and exotic plant species.
